Placing an Order

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLACED?

Due to the nature of our live shopping events we are unable to make any changes to your order once it has been locked in for processing. We do apologize for the inconvenience. Therefore, please ensure you have selected the correct item (accounting for sizing conversions, men’s vs. women’s items, etc.) before placing your order. 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PAY FOR MY ITEM?

After checkout, we begin processing your order. ​​ Once your order is placed, you will soon receive an Order Confirmation Email once your shopper has secured your item. Occasionally we may need to cancel your order if the item is damaged or the inventory conveyed to us by the retailer was incorrect. In this case, you will receive a cancellation email and the pre-authorization for the order amount will fall off your credit card in about 7 business days (depending on your bank).

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

We currently ship to the US and Canada, via tracked shipping with USPS, UPS, FedEx, Canada Post, and DHL.
Please note: We do not ship to P.O boxes, Puerto Rico, or Hawaii.

CAN I PICKUP?

Unfortunately, we do not offer pickup. 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP?
Your order will be shipped out to you within 1-3 weeks after your shopper has confirmed your item successfully. We first wait to receive your order from the retailer and then perform a thorough quality inspection. Once this is complete we then ship your order out. At this point you will receive tracking information by email. Please allow up to 7 days transit time from this point. *Please note: These are typical shipping times. There may be delays out of our control due to the type and/or nature of the sale, courier issues, volume, holiday etc.* 

WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?

We ship from Canada and the US. Next to the price, you’ll see Canada or US to indicate the currency and where the item is coming from. All items can be shipped to Canada and the US! Please note: We do not ship to P.O boxes, Puerto Rico, or Hawaii. 

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

We offer free shipping on items “sold and shipped by” ShopThing. Marketplace orders are sold and shipped by the Marketplace Seller. Click here to learn more.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY? 

Due to the nature of our live shopping events, and as per our Terms & Condition, all sales are final. We want you to feel confident in your purchase so we’re happy to help you with sizing, fit, or any questions that you may have - just swipe up to ask the Shopper!  

WHAT IF THE PRODUCT I RECEIVE IS DAMAGED?

When we receive the product from the retailer, we perform a thorough quality inspection before shipping to you. In the unlikely scenario that a product you receive is not as described in the video, media and/or description please reach out to our Customer Care Team (hello@shopthing.com). We will look into the case and make a determination on next steps. Please report issues with your order within 7 days of receipt as per your tracking number. Any issues reported beyond this timeline will not be considered. ShopThing will not take responsibility for damage that occurred after wear or use.

DELIVERY POLICY

If you decline your order upon delivery, your order(s) will be returned to the nearest ShopThing fulfillment center and held until re-delivery arrangements have been made by you. Please note: shipping charges and service fee are non-refundable.

Duties & Additional Charges 

DO I HAVE TO PAY DUTIES? 

For orders being purchased in your local currency, there will be no duties or fees. If you purchase in a currency other than your own you may incur duties, taxes and/or fees for which you will be solely responsible to pay. This is out of ShopThing’s control. These amounts are dictated by each countries International trade laws and can vary depending on how many items are in your order. You will be charged by the courier directly. 

Pleasen note that in the event an item is returned by you to ShopThing, you will not be refuded any duties, taxes or fees paid on the items.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL CHARGES?

On all items “sold by and shipped by ShopThing”, ShopThing charges a service fee on these items, as well as Shopper local taxes and shipping (if applicable). Please note that our service fee is subject to change without notice and is non-refundable.

Order Status & Order Information 

MY ORDER STATUS SAYS PENDING - WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? 

Pending means you have placed your order but the Shopper has yet to purchase the product from our partner or retailer and confirm the order. After purchasing the product directly, our Shopper will then confirm your order and payment will be finalized.

MY ORDER STATUS SAYS CONFIRMED - WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Confirmed means your Shopper has purchased your order from the retailer and we are now waiting to receive the item in our fulfillment centre. Once we receive the item, we will perform a thorough quality check (checking sizing, no damage, etc.) After that we will pack your order up and send it out!

MY ORDER STATUS SAYS FULFILLED - WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Your order has been packed and a shipping label has been created. YAY! Tracking information is included in your Shipping Confirmation email. Please allow 24 hours for this tracking number to become active. Refer back to this number to see where your package is on its journey to you. Please Note: It is important to ensure someone is home as it’s getting close to delivery or make alternative arrangements to collect your package from a local facility for example. We will not be responsible for packages delivered to an agreed adress that subsequently go missing. Thanks again for shopping with ShopThing!!

I CAN’T FIND MY CONFIRMATION/SHIPPING EMAIL? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE YOUR EMAILS? 

Our emails may have ended up in spam/junk/promotion folders. Kindly check there and move it to Inbox so you don’t miss our next email!

MY ORDER WAS CANCELED, BUT I WAS CHARGED? 

You won't be charged for a cancelled item. We only pre-authorized your card for the full amount of the purchase when you placed your order, but this authorization will be fully refunded to your credit card in about 7 business days, depending on your bank.

To guarantee authenticity, inventory is purchased through trusted retailers and partners.

For added assurance every order that we ship undergoes a thorough quality check.
