Once you create your Seller account, you will get access to the Seller Dashboard on the ShopThing App. This is where you will create your events and upload your products!

ShopThing is known for selling luxury products at a discounted price! These products can come from luxury retailers, your personal brand, or even your closet. Popular categories include luxury handbags, shoes, clothing, accessories, and jewelry!

a. For each transaction, you will be charged a Transaction Fee (in an amount equal to 10% of the sales price), the tax charged on each Transaction Fee, a payment Processing Fee (in an amount equal to 3.5% of the final order price), and the tax charged on each payment Processing Fee (if applicable).

b. Sellers utilizing ShopThing’s carrier accounts to generate a shipping label will also be charged a Seller Protection fee.

a. ShopThing Seller Protection is designed to safeguard Sellers against potential losses for packages that are deemed lost or damaged in transit by the carrier. ShopThing only provides Seller Protection to Sellers utilizing ShopThing’s carrier accounts to generate a shipping label.

b. Protection Fee: A base fee of $2.00, plus tax, will be charged for orders with a sales price up to $1,000. For every $1,000 increment over $1,000, an additional $2.00, plus tax, will be charged. When purchasing from a Marketplace seller, the shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. The exact shipping fee will be calculated and displayed during checkout based on the shipping method selected.

All of our sellers go through a rigorous process before hosting an event in our App. Once a customer has received their order from a seller, you will have the opportunity to rate and review the purchase. 

In App, if you click on the seller icon, you will see the seller's overall ratings and any reviews that are left from customers who have purchased and received items directly from the seller. This is a feature to ensure that you are provided full transparency about who you are purchasing from, and what you can expect throughout the experience.
