Q: What is Authenticity Guaranteed?

At ShopThing, we ensure authentic luxury goods through thorough in-house inspection and third-party verification, guaranteeing 100% authenticity or a refund. We prohibit counterfeit sales and work independently from listed brands, sourcing from certified distributors and luxury retailers. Our commitment extends to pre-loved items, clearly labeled as such. Enjoy peace of mind with our authenticity guarantee or your money back. For any item suspected to be counterfeit, ShopThing requires proof from the purchaser to initiate a refund.

Q: Where do you get your products?

We shop luxury sales and clearance through our strong partnerships with brands. Everything our shoppers source and sell is 100% authentic and purchased directly from the retailer or distributor. 

Q: How do you authenticate products from your Marketplace?

At ShopThing, maintaining the authenticity and quality of our products is top priority. We have strict guidelines in place to ensure that all products posted on our platform are authentic. For products exceeding a certain value, we conduct a secondary authenticity check as an additional measure to guarantee that the product meets our standards before reaching our customers. This elongates our shipping times as the product requires an extra stop along it’s journey, however all good things come to those who wait!

Q: What if I get a product I suspect is fake?

We kindly ask that you provide proof that the product you purchased from ShopThing is inauthentic. Should an item be proven inauthentic, we will gladly send you a prepaid shipping label to facilitate the return process. Upon receiving the product, we will authenticate the product using our authenticator of choice (Entrupy and/or Real Authentication) and then advise on next steps. 

Q: There were no brand cards in my package?

Any brand authenticity cards will only be provided with your item if they are provided to us by the retailer/or partner. If you would like to know if your item specifically comes with an authenticity card, I encourage you to message your shopper at the time of purchase!

Q: Are items final sale?
Any item sold through Marketplace is considered FINAL SALE, meaning that once a customer has made a purchase from you in Marketplace, they will no longer be able to cancel, return or exchange the item for a refund/and or credit. All of these items will be listed in the event as FINAL SALE. That being said, should you have any questions regarding this policy, you may still reach out to our team to help resolve any questions or concerns.
