Policies for Seller Protection

ShopThing Seller Protection is designed to safeguard Sellers against potential losses for packages that are deemed lost or damaged in transit by the carrier. This is done through the prepaid shipping labels provided by ShopThing. The cost of Seller Protection is non-refundable.

Seller Protection Fee: A base fee of $2.00, plus tax, will be charged for orders with a sales price up to $1,000. For every $1,000 increment over $1,000, an additional $2.00, plus tax, will be charged.

How Does it Work?

  • For every order you fulfill, the Protection Fees will be automatically calculated based on the sales price of the item sold. For instance:

    • For a sales price between $0 and $1,000, a $2.00 Seller Protection Fee, plus tax, will be applied.

    • For a sales price between $1,001 and $2,000, a $4.00 Seller Protection Fee, plus tax, will be applied.

    • For a sales price between $2,001 and $3,000, a $6.00 Seller Protection Fee, plus tax, will be applied.

  • If a package is returned back to you, you will be charged a new Protection Fee.
