Q. What trend are you most excited about?

There are a few trends that we are seeing for Summer we love including the western/country influence, metallics, pastels and utility.

Q. What brand do you sell the most of?

7 years in a row we sell Louis Vuitton the most, especially vintage.

Q. What is your favourite up and coming brand?

Designer Róisín Pierce is someone we are super excited about, she creates ultrafeminine handcrafted luxury pieces. We can’t wait to get our hands on one of her dresses. We also have never met a scandi brand we didn’t LOVE so we are always watching for cool new designers from that part of the world.

Q. What excites you the most about pre-loved items?

The hunt – we are obsessed with curating our collection to be the most spectacular mix of hard to find vintage and perfect condition in season pieces. Now that we specialize in sourcing we have seen more and more of our clients coveting vintage pieces and being able to hunt them down bring us a joy like no other, we are like private detectives for luxury buying and we think that’s cool haha.

Q. What was your most exciting pre-loved find?

We recently found a Birkin 25 in togo leather for a client who wanted it for a big anniversary. She gave us a 7 day timeline. We had the bag in perfect condition to her door in 4 days from Paris to Vancouver. That was a thrill. Otherwise when consignment pieces come in organically we always get a boost of adrenaline, Chanel always gets us going!

Q. What advice would you give to someone who is new to the world of luxury fashion and wants to start building their collection?

Quality over quantity. Take your time and think capsule wardrobe. Your first bag should be something you can wear often, practical and versatile.

Q. What do you love most about selling with ShopThing?

ShopThing has a truly epic community! We love that everyone following along are true fashion enthusiasts. It is so fun being involved in selling but also getting to see other peoples finds!
